Welcome to the final few weeks before summer break, Eagle Nation! Before we went on spring break, I noticed trash was scattered around the campus without students or staff attempting to fix that issue, so, I simply ask, why is trash being scattered everywhere around Eisenhower? Well, trash isn’t that hard to find around campus and sometimes can be annoying when it comes to finding those types of trash, like soda cans, water bottles/caps, and others. The ways you can help are pretty simple. You could either join the school’s community service as they usually have meetings depending on the days the City of Rialto holds events, or, get others to help you clean up around the school so that it looks cleaner and more representative to be in. When we came back from spring break, I am not so sure if there will be any more trash around campus, but for now, keep your eyes peeled, and see if any trash is on the ground, if you do, please notify one of the staff and they will assist you further, or, if possible, take pictures around the school and see if there’s anything else on the ground.
However, you (the reader) might also be asking what happened before spring break as well, wondering if we were going to be after the break, I spoke to Ms. Pool, and she confirmed that we will not move until after the summer break and before the 25/26 school year begins. This means the S and B buildings will be torn down in favor of building a parking lot and giving it more space. Meanwhile, new classes will be there in the fall for students in this school and the new buildings will be finished during that time. I, a sophomore, have been in this school for a while, and I saw the construction progress over the 23/24 and the current 24/25 school years. And if I’m not mistaken, the new buildings will replace the A building, which was there until the class of 2023 already graduated and before some new staff members came into the school.
