During interview
When you are called in to an in person interview make sure to arrive early because the drive/walk can take time. While waiting for the interviewer make sure to switch your phone to silent mode to avoid any interruptions. If the interview is online the procedure is similar. Make sure to be connected at least 10 minutes before the interview to avoid technical difficulties. The article 5 Job Interview Tips for High School Students They Can Apply highlights the importance of being early and being responsible. Be prepared to answer questions. The questions can vary from personal, work related, and to situational questions.
After interview
After leaving the interview it is good to send your interviewer a thank-you email. A handwritten note should be good as well, this shows how much you care about the job. As noted in https://www.resumeprofessionalwriters.com/job-interview-tips-for-high-school-students
It is important to express your gratitude for your interviewer’s time. While you’re waiting for the hiring manager, take a moment to consider if this job is right for you. After the interview, you should be able to hear back from the hiring manager within a week but in some cases not so quick. If you do hear back they’ll most likely want to discuss the job after, or proceed with a final interview, or be notified that they have chosen another candidate.
