As students attending Ike, we have all noticed the construction taking place on and around campus.
The construction for the upcoming two-story buildings on campus is expected to be completed during second semester, with teachers anticipated to move in around spring break. English, math, and nursing classes, as well as those currently housed in the S and B wings, are expected to relocate to the new buildings, along with some additional teachers. Most Ike students have probably noticed the building under construction down Baseline Ave. It is right on the school traffic route. This building will re-open as a Starbucks. For those who would like a drink before or after school, it will be conveniently located just down the street from Eisenhower. It could also be a potential job opportunity, as the proximity makes it an easy and quick commute. The Starbucks website provides information on future job applications for barista positions. If you consider yourself a people person, work well in a team, handle responsibilities effectively, and can stay composed in a fast-paced, energetic environment, a barista job might be a great fit for you.
