One of the newest faces to the Golden Gazette family this year Jaziah. This is sophomore year of high school and first year as a member of the Golden Gazette. Besides journalism, some other extracurricular activities that Jaziah participates in is being a valued member of our school’s soccer team. School isn’t the only thing that Jaziah cares about however as he has many hobbies outside of school that he partakes in such as going to the park, drawing, and playing video games. Everyone has their reasons for why they choose the extracurriculars that they do and for Jaziah, he decided to join journalism because he believes that people should be more in tune with what’s happening around the school and that this is the most effective way. Jaziah decided to join journalism because he wanted to improve his writing abilities and so that he could have a backup plan just in case.
