Laila Woods, Reporter
Laila is a senior here at Eisenhower high school, & certainly not new to advocating her voice through speech. Though this is her first year in journalism, she has been a part of both Choir, & Speech & Debate for all four years, as well as being a Soboban for both of her upperclassmen years! Outside of school, she adores listening & analyzing music. To her, the Golden Gazette is crucial to the school because it allows members to give out info regarding Ike, & assists fellow students in becoming knowledgeable of any recent events. Laila is involved in the newspaper for the fun aspect of it – how cool of a thing it is to do, as well as an equal opportunity. Furthermore, knowledge is power when it comes to knowing what goes on at school. Her hopes regarding the Golden Gazette are to obtain her Civic Seal of Engagement, as well as filling her credible sources with articles & notoriety.
