I recently had read Spider-Man Blue and had got many things to say. After finishing Spider-Man Blue, I felt inspired to make stories like Spider-Man Blue because of how powerful it is while also loving the story itself.
I tried not to watch too many videos about Spider-Man Blue because I didn’t want to spoil myself. But just by watching reviews of Spider-Man Blue, I felt happy and in a different mood. Although, the story isn’t a happy story for most of it.
I got the book and started reading it. The setting of the book is in Peter Parker’s house talking to Gwen who had died a long time ago. This is both a powerful and sad message: the message being that Peter still can’t get over Gwen’s death, while also being married after all these years. The time period Spider-Man Blue would take place would be from the late 1960’s to the early 1970’s. Just like the original Spider-Man comics.
By reading this comic I noticed the lovely art and detail put in each panel of Spider-Man Blue. Every panel’s art fills it with life and love. Not only does the art and story make this comic amazing but also the characters. For example, in one of the panels in the comic book: Peter is talking to Jameson about Aunt May, and Jameson brings up his aunt who is too worried about money. Panels like this show who characters really are: this panel shows who Jameson really is, that he’s not just a guy who’s all grumpy and mean.
Things like these are what made me enjoy Spider-Man Blue and why it’s a lovely story.
