Everybody at Eisenhower high school has a unique way to show their personality with the fashion choices they make. For example, if I’m in a bad mood and do not feel like getting ready I tend to wear a sp5der hoodie with sweatpants to chill alongside comfort. When I’m in an uprising mood I lean toward a goodfellow shirt white or black with jewelry as well as Purple Brand jeans.

After surveying IKE students it came down to three brands that were picked more than 40% : Hellstar, Cookies, and Purple Brand. With fashion styles changing drastically it is easy to tell why Hellstar is so popular with the brand having graphic hoodies and shirts. Also having basic sweatpants, sweaters, and shirts that fit many styles. Hellstar started as an Instagram but quickly went mainstream after many artists were seen wearing the brand and raised to the top of the streetwear scene. Next brand is Cookies even though it goes against dress code policy students still like to wear the brand. Students may enjoy wearing the brand because of the new style of graphic tees even though some clothes contain vulgar images. Lastly we have Purple Brand which has gained in popularity all throughout school districts. The success of the Purple Brand is due to trends on the internet or to the increase of reselling clothes throughout the Inland Empire
According to Eisenhower’s home webpage it states “clothes must cover undergarments and private areas, including the midriff. Shoes are required at all times. Clothing and accessories must not show inappropriate or illegal content (like drugs, alcohol, weapons, or gang symbols).” The consequences of dress code is changing into Eisenhower gear, parent called to bring clothes, and is assigned lunchtime intervention
My final thoughts about Eisenhower fashion are that students should wear what they want to and not get persuaded by the internet trends.
