For many years and even now Israel and Palestine have been in constant conflict. It’s being very widely covered today as many Palestinians are seeking refuge from the conflict between Hamas and Israel they receive aid while taking shelter in the strip of Gaza. This however is becoming hard to approach as Israel’s military has closed all borders to Gaza on February 28, 2026.
Supplies and food has already been limited and this choice will cause many issues to their already limited resources. Due to Gaza being very dependent on help through outside forces. With the borders being closed, their limited supplies will become more scarce. It will also disrupt the humanitarian aid for people in Gaza and will be affected greatly as fresh supplies will be limited. This affects hospital, sanitation, and water services along with all the people dependent on them as a source for help.
Without this help in Gaza, many families will suffer and have no other place to go as they have fled from the attacks that have destroyed their homes. The block directly stops medical evacuations putting many patients’ lives at risk. As well as the Rafah crossing, with Egypt, and other Israeli checkpoints.
